Send your first WhatsApp message with ChatArchitect
Use this guide to test a WhatsApp Business number connected to ChatArchitect. Send a message from a separate personal WhatsApp account to your business number, then reply from the connected CRM or help desk. To start a conversation with a customer, use an approved message template.
Before you start
- Connect and verify your business number.
- Install the ChatArchitect integration in your CRM or help desk and enter the APP ID and APP SECRET supplied for that connection.
- Have a separate personal WhatsApp number available for the test. Send the test message from that number, not from the connected business number.
If you are building a direct API integration instead of using a ready-made connector, follow the ChatArchitect API quick start for credentials, webhook setup, message requests, and delivery statuses.
Test an incoming message and reply
- Complete the setup for your tool: Kommo, Bitrix24, or Deskie / Omnidesk.
- From your personal WhatsApp account, send a short message to the connected business number.
- Open the incoming conversation in the CRM or help desk and send a reply. In Bitrix24, open the chat and select Reply.
- Confirm that the reply reaches your personal WhatsApp account.
This test starts with a customer message, so your reply can be sent as a regular message while the customer service window is open. Use the text reply guide to check wording, inserted values, links and the received result. For supported attachments, use the image checklist or document checklist before checking the received file. Where your integration supports them, use the audio and voice-message checklist or video checklist to check the received recording. Contact cards and map points are available through the ChatArchitect API; check connector support before using them in a CRM. See the contact-card guide and map-location guide for preparation and recipient checks.
Send a business-initiated message
If your business starts the conversation, or the customer service window has closed, select an approved message template in your sending tool. Create and check a template before trying to send it. For Kommo, refresh the integration's template list if a newly approved template is missing.
Check the result
If the incoming message does not appear, check that the integration is connected with the correct APP ID and APP SECRET and that you sent the message to the connected business number. Follow the setup guide for your specific tool to find its chat view.
If you use the API, a submitted response means ChatArchitect accepted the request into its queue. Check the webhook for the later failed, sent, delivered, or read status before treating the message as delivered. The API quick start shows the request and webhook flow.
