Marketing Messages API for WhatsApp | Developer Documentation

Marketing Messages API and ChatArchitect campaigns

Meta's Marketing Messages API for WhatsApp is a developer integration for sending marketing messages. Meta describes delivery optimization and measurement features in its marketing messages guide. Those Meta features should not be assumed to be available in a ChatArchitect account.

Send a marketing campaign with ChatArchitect

  1. Open wtargeted.com and use your ChatArchitect App key and Secret. Follow the template creation guide if you have not submitted a template before.
  2. Choose Marketing in Submit template. Enter the message text, sample values for variables and any buttons available in your form. The marketing template guide covers the content and submission steps.
  3. After review, check Approved templates for the final text and category. Select the approved template in your connected CRM, help desk or other sending tool. Send a test with real variable values and check any button before a larger campaign.
  4. Watch template quality and delivery results. If quality drops or messages are delayed, use the quality guide and review the audience and message frequency. Approval alone does not guarantee delivery to every recipient.

What the Meta API documentation means here

Meta's /marketing_messages endpoint is for a direct Meta API integration. In the supported ChatArchitect customer workflow, your App key and Secret are ChatArchitect credentials, not a Meta System User access token; you do not call Meta's endpoint with them.

Whether ChatArchitect uses the Marketing Messages API internally, or makes its specific optimization and measurement features available to customers, has not been confirmed. If your campaign depends on one of those features, ask ChatArchitect support to check availability for your account before planning it. See Meta's developer overview for direct API details.
