Create WhatsApp message templates with ChatArchitect
Use this guide to prepare a WhatsApp message template for an integration connected to ChatArchitect. The template form is available at wtargeted.com. After your template has been reviewed, you can select it in a supported sending workflow.
Before you start
Have your integration's App key and Secret ready. You will also need a Facebook or Google account for sign-in and a personal phone number with WhatsApp for verification. The verification number is different from the WhatsApp Business number connected to ChatArchitect.
Create a template
- Open wtargeted.com and choose Facebook Login or Google Login.
- Enter your personal WhatsApp phone number and complete the verification step.
- Enter your App key and Secret, then select Yes, continue.
- In the app menu, select Submit template.
- Choose the template language and type. Enter the message text in the first column. For a variable, use a numbered placeholder such as
{{1}}. - In the second column, provide a sample message with meaningful values for the variables. For example, if the template text is
Hello, {{1}}. Your request {{2}} is ready., a sample isHello, [Alex]. Your request [12345] is ready.Use the template review and received-message checklist to check the wording and representative values before a larger send. - Select Submit Template.
Check the result
After the review, open Approved templates and select refresh to load the current list. Check that the template appears there before trying to send it from an integration.
If the template is absent, check whether its review has finished and refresh the list again. If the form rejects a message with variables, check that each numbered placeholder has a corresponding meaningful sample value. For an existing template, follow the editing and deletion guide. For several languages, use the language-version preparation guide.
Send the template
The sending steps depend on your connected tool. Continue with the instructions for your integration, for example RetailCRM / Simla, Bitrix24, or Kommo Salesbot.
For the parts of a template and their availability in ChatArchitect, read the template components guide. For API fields, categories, limits, and other platform rules, consult Meta's template reference.
