WhatsApp Business Pre-Verified Phone Numbers API | Developer Documentation
Check a pre-verified WhatsApp number offer before connecting it
ChatArchitect does not supply or sell phone numbers. For the supported connection, use a number you control and complete the verification step in the supplied setup. A seller's description of a number as “pre-verified” is not confirmation that it is ready for your ChatArchitect connection.
Use this checklist if another company offers a ready-made number or sends a list of pre-verified numbers. Establish what is being offered before changing your current WhatsApp setup.
Separate the four questions
| Question | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Which number would you use? | Record the complete telephone number with country code. A provider's inventory ID is not the telephone number your customers will contact. |
| Who controls that number? | Ask who holds the number, who can receive its calls or SMS, and what access your business would have. Keep the proposed arrangement separate from a claim that Meta has verified it. |
| Which business and account are involved? | Identify the intended business portfolio and WhatsApp account. Ask what an inventory or verification label actually refers to; do not assume it describes your business. |
| How would it enter your ChatArchitect connection? | Ask ChatArchitect support to confirm the applicable route for that specific arrangement. A provider's list does not define a supported customer operation for buying, sharing or selecting a number. |
Check the proposed change against the current use
- Write down the proposed number, the company making the offer and the business that should use it. Keep a redacted copy of the offer or record, including its observation date.
- Determine whether the number already serves the WhatsApp Business app, another provider or another business. Use the existing-number preparation guide for the case that applies.
- State what must keep working: the existing app, the CRM conversation or the current sending tool. Ask support which connection route can meet those requirements before changing registration or access.
- If the supported route is your own number, follow the number selection and connection guide. Complete any required SMS or voice confirmation in the setup screen that requested it.
Keep unresolved ownership or sharing conditions as open questions. A “pre-verified” label does not remove the need to establish who controls the number and which setup applies. It also does not prove that the intended CRM can receive or send messages.
Confirm the resulting connection
Compare the business number and account selected in the connection with the record you agreed on. Then configure the intended integration and check a small incoming message and outgoing reply using the first-message guide. Record the actual result in that tool.
For your own application, use the ChatArchitect API Quick Start after the connection is prepared. The issued App key and Secret authenticate documented ChatArchitect requests; they are not Meta Bearer credentials for a pre-verified-number inventory API.
What to include in a support request
Provide the number, intended business, current WhatsApp use, redacted offer and the exact setup step or question. Ask whether the proposed arrangement is supported for your connection. Keep passwords, verification codes, PINs and Secret values out of the comparison. No special pre-verified-number supply or sharing service is established by this guide.
